The Docketing Clerk plays a critical role in supporting Plaintiff-side Lemon Law litigation by ensuring all deadlines are tracked, calculated, and communicated with precision. This highly detail-oriented Docketing Clerk position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and takes pride in accuracy, accountability, and proactive communication. As a Docketing Clerk, you will partner closely with attorneys and legal staff to keep cases on track, anticipate upcoming deadlines, and ensure compliance with evolving court rules. The ideal Docketing Clerk is organized, tech-savvy, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional support and maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calendar, track, and manage litigation deadlines across state and federal courts
  • Review legal documents to identify and calculate critical deadlines accurately
  • Prepare and distribute deadline reports to attorneys and legal staff
  • Maintain and update docketing systems and monitor court rule changes
  • Communicate proactively regarding upcoming deadlines and case activity
  • Utilize PACER and docketing software (e.g., CompuLaw, Aderant) effectively
  • Manage multiple priorities independently while ensuring accuracy under pressure
